Norwegian Cabin Bag Size 2026: Free Bag, Fees, Rules

The overhead cabin bag can measure up to 55 x 40 x 23 cm, and it comes with LowFare+ and Flex tickets. All three ticket types include a small underseat bag of 30 x 40 x 20 cm. LowFare passengers who want the overhead bag can buy one online for 13.90 EUR on domestic flights or 15.90 to 29.90 EUR on international ones, per leg. Norwegian doesn't say whether wheels and handles count, so measure them in.

Buying the overhead bag on a LowFare ticket also gets you Priority Boarding.

Your underseat bag can be 30 x 40 x 20 cm, and every ticket includes one, LowFare too. It has to fit under the seat in front of you. A first checked bag bought before check-in costs 20 EUR on domestic flights and 19 to 45 EUR on international flights. The second costs 29.90 EUR domestic or 28 to 46 EUR international. The pet takes the place of one cabin bag. Larger animals can travel in the hold for 150 to 180 EUR online.

Only dogs are accepted on flights to and from Svalbard and Madeira.

Sports equipment costs 40 to 45 EUR online or 50 EUR at the airport, per item each way. It counts toward your checked allowance, and an item over 23 kg or beyond the 2 bag limit pays excess baggage. Golf is limited to one bag of 23 kg per passenger, and bikes must travel in a hard case.

Norwegian puts an oversized cabin bag in the hold and charges per leg, but it doesn't publish the gate amount.
