Information we collect
When you visit the site, our servers record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you open and the time of your visit. Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics collect usage statistics, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. If you email us, we keep your email address and message. The bag checker does not ask for any personal information.
How we use it
We use this information to run the site, keep it secure, fix errors and see which pages are useful. We use your emails only to answer you and to handle correction reports. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.
Analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and measure how people use the site, and Google's own privacy policy applies to that data. Ahrefs Web Analytics measures visits without cookies. You can block Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on or your browser's privacy settings.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. Server logs are deleted after 30 days. Emails are kept for as long as we need them to answer you.
Sharing
We share information only with the services that run the site: AWS for hosting, Google Analytics and Ahrefs for statistics. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Affiliate links
Some links to retailers are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer may set its own cookies to record that you came from baggagelimits.com, and its privacy policy applies from then on.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
