Fiji Airways allows one 7 kg cabin bag of 55 x 40 x 23 cm in economy, plus a personal item up to 4 kg. Checked bags follow the piece concept at 30 kg each: Lite has none, Value gets 1 piece, Comfort and Plus get 2, and business gets 2, rising to 3 to and from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and Vancouver.
Every Fiji Airways ticket uses the piece concept, with each checked bag capped at 30 kg (66 lb). Economy Lite includes no checked bag, Value includes 1 piece, and Comfort and Plus include 2. Biz Value and Biz Plus include 2 pieces on most routes and 3 pieces to and from North America. Infants get 1 bag of 10 kg plus a stroller.
Honolulu, Narita, Singapore and Hong Kong follow the standard two-bag business allowance, not the North American three.

Economy passengers get one cabin bag of up to 7 kg (15 lb), no larger than 55 x 40 x 23 cm and 118 cm in total, wheels and handles included. Business passengers on Boeing 737 and Airbus jets may take two bags of 7 kg each, sized up to 56 x 45 x 25 cm. A bag that fails the size or weight check at the gate costs FJD 130 within the South Pacific, FJD 250 from Fiji to the US or USD 150 from the US.
The gate fee only applies on Fiji Airways point to point routes.

One personal item is allowed on top of the cabin bag, as long as it weighs no more than 4 kg. Fiji Airways lists a laptop bag, purse, handbag, coat, umbrella, small camera or reading matter as examples but sets no dimensions, so the item has to fit under the seat in front. A duty free bag bought at the airport is also permitted.
Six fare brands set the allowance. In economy, Lite is cabin bag only, Value adds 1 checked piece, and Comfort and Plus add 2. In business, Biz Value and Biz Plus carry the same 2 pieces, or 3 on North American routes. All pieces are 30 kg internationally and 15 kg on Fiji Link domestic flights.

On flights to and from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and Vancouver, economy is unchanged: Lite none, Value 1 piece, Comfort and Plus 2 pieces of 30 kg. Business rises to 3 pieces of 30 kg. Honolulu uses the standard table instead. Prepaying an extra bag costs FJD 420 from Nadi to LA or San Francisco and USD 260 from those cities to Nadi.
Codeshare legs within the US or between LAX and Canada may follow the operating partner's bag fees.
Each checked piece may weigh up to 30 kg (66 lb) and measure up to 158 cm (62 in) in length plus width plus height on international flights. Pieces over 30 kg are refused and must be repacked or sent as freight, and anything over 277 cm also goes as freight. Fiji Link domestic flights use 15 kg and 115 cm.

Fiji Link domestic flights within Fiji allow one cabin bag of 7 kg in economy. Checked bags weigh up to 15 kg (33 lb) each: Lite has none, Value 1 piece, and Comfort and Plus 2 pieces, each up to 115 cm. If the domestic leg is on the same ticket as an international Fiji Airways flight, the international allowance applies.
Extra bags are cheapest prepaid, up to 4 hours before departure, with a maximum of two per passenger. A prepaid piece of up to 30 kg costs FJD 200 from Nadi to Australia or New Zealand, AUD 140 or NZD 140 back to Nadi, FJD 420 to Los Angeles and USD 260 from Los Angeles. Airport rates cost more, at about FJD 250 to Australia. There is no overweight band, and oversized items pay a bulky fee of about one extra bag.
Peak Pacific Islands rates run 1 June to 15 July and 15 November to 31 December, though one table on the same page says 15 May.
Yes for oneworld elites. Emerald members get one additional checked bag on any fare, and Sapphire members get one more bag when their ticket includes 0 or 1 bags. Pets do not fly in the cabin or as checked baggage on Fiji Airways. Animals move as cargo through Fiji Airways Cargo, and entry to Fiji needs a Biosecurity Authority of Fiji import permit and quarantine. Trained assistance dogs can usually travel in the cabin with advance notice and the right documents.
Surfboards, golf bags and dive gear count as one of your checked pieces, within the 30 kg weight limit. Items longer than 158 cm in total dimensions pay the oversized or bulky fee, which runs about the same as an extra bag. Anything over 277 cm or 30 kg has to travel as freight.
An infant under two travelling on a lap gets 1 checked bag of 10 kg (22 lb) plus a stroller on international flights, and an extra 3 kg cabin allowance for nappies and food. A collapsible stroller up to 148 cm total can be used to the aircraft door, where it is taken to the hold. Domestic flights include a stroller but no infant bag.
