Economy Comfort and Economy Flex include 1 checked bag of up to 23 kg, while Economy Light and Economy Basic include none. Business Comfort includes 1 bag of up to 32 kg and Business Flex includes 2. Each checked bag can measure up to 158 cm when you add width, height and depth, and the airline won't take any bag over 32 kg.

The Green versions of Comfort carry the same bags as the standard Comfort fares and add a sustainability contribution.

Carry-on bags can measure 55 x 40 x 23 cm and weigh 8 kg. Economy Light, Comfort and Flex get one such bag, and Business gets two. The baggage essentials page lists a 115 cm total for cabin bags, which is 3 cm under the sum of 55 x 40 x 23 cm, so staying inside both limits is the safe choice.

The personal item limit is 40 x 30 x 15 cm, and every fare includes one. Handbags, shopping bags and laptop bags all qualify, provided they fit under the seat. No weight limit is published for it, and infants don't get a personal item of their own.

Only 1 personal item of 40 x 30 x 15 cm comes with Economy Basic. You can buy one carry-on of 55 x 40 x 23 cm and 8 kg per passenger, but the price only appears during booking. HON Circle members, Senators and Star Alliance Gold members keep a free carry-on on this fare. Refunds and rebooking aren't allowed, and that covers paid extras too.

Air Dolomiti calls its middle fare Comfort, where Lufthansa Group sister airlines may use a different name.

Within Europe, a first checked bag for Economy Basic or Economy Light costs 35 EUR when added online 8 or more days before departure. It rises to 40 EUR from 7 days to 48 hours out, 45 EUR in the last 47 hours and 65 EUR at the airport. A second or extra bag on fares with a bag costs 65, 70, 75 or 90 EUR on the same timing. From 15 June to 15 September and from December to 15 January, every bag costs 5 EUR more.

Bags over 32 kg can't be checked at all. Below that, a bag that goes past your fare's 23 kg or 32 kg allowance, or past 158 cm, may draw an airport surcharge, but Air Dolomiti doesn't publish the amount.

Yes, small dogs and cats can fly in the cabin if pet and carrier together weigh 8 kg or less. The soft-sided carrier can measure up to 55 x 40 x 23 cm and goes under the seat in front. Each route costs 80 EUR prepaid or 100 EUR at the airport, with 1 carrier per passenger and 2 per flight. Larger pets go in the hold for 100 or 200 EUR depending on kennel size, plus 150 EUR to transfer in Frankfurt. Book by phone at least 48 hours ahead.

Pets can't fly on Air Dolomiti flights to or from London City or Birmingham, except assistance dogs.

Skis, golf bags and bicycles each cost 80 EUR. Skis travel free when they use a paid baggage allowance and must be booked 48 hours ahead. A golf bag can reach 220 cm in total size. Up to 5 packed, non-motorised bikes fit on each flight, and e-bikes are refused. Musical instruments can go in the cabin at up to 125 cm and 8 kg, or in the hold in a hard case up to 32 kg.

Yes, 8 kg cabin bags can be sent to the hold at the gate when there isn't room on board. Strollers, wheelchairs and crutches can use Delivery at Aircraft, so you hand them over at the aircraft door instead of at check-in.
