Sky Express Baggage Allowance 2026

Economy passengers get one 8 kg hand bag plus a personal item on every fare, while checked bags depend on the fare: none on SKY offer and SKY joy, 1 x 15 kg on SKY joy+ and 1 x 23 kg on SKY enjoy. BLISS and BLISS+ business fares include 2 x 32 kg checked bags and a 13 kg hand bag. The same allowances apply on domestic and international tickets.

SKY Basic is a separate fare sold only on thin regional routes from Athens such as Astypalea, Kalymnos, Siros, Kozani and Kastoria, and it bundles a 15 kg bag.

The hand luggage limit is 55 x 40 x 23 cm, with a weight cap of 8 kg in economy and 13 kg in BLISS and BLISS+. It's included free on every fare, SKY offer included, alongside one small personal item. A musical instrument in a case up to the same 55 x 40 x 23 cm can replace the hand bag at no charge.

A personal item can measure up to 40 x 30 x 15 cm, and the airline gives a handbag or laptop case as examples. You get it on every fare in addition to the 55 x 40 x 23 cm hand bag. No separate weight figure for the personal item appears on the fare page.

Online, a 15 kg bag starts at €16 on domestic flights, €15 on international flights under 2 hours and €25 on longer international flights. A 23 kg bag starts at €20, €30 and €40 on those same route groups. Only 23 kg bags can be bought at the airport, where they cost €35 to €60 depending on route and season, so buying online is cheaper.

Sky Express splits international routes by flight time: Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Sofia, Tirana, Tel Aviv and Istanbul count as under 2 hours.

Each checked bag can total 156 cm when you add length, width and height. Weight follows your fare: 15 kg on SKY joy+ and SKY Basic, 23 kg on SKY enjoy and 32 kg per bag in BLISS. Overweight bags are accepted for a per-kg fee only up to 32 kg per item.

Excess weight costs €5 per kg online and €7 per kg at the airport, rising to €8 and €10 in peak season. Peak season runs 1 April to 31 October and 12 December to 7 January. You buy extra kilos online in steps of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 or 10 kg, and the rates are the same on domestic and international routes.

Yes. Dogs and cats up to 8 kg including the carrier can fly in the cabin for €35 on domestic flights or €65 on international flights. The carrier can measure up to 55 x 40 x 20 cm, and a soft case is preferred. Heavier pets travel in the hold for €50, on ATR flights only, up to 25 kg including the crate. Each passenger may bring one pet, and you must request it at least 24 hours before departure.

Pets are not carried on any Sky Express flight to or from the United Kingdom.

Yes, 1 folding stroller per child travels free and doesn't count against the fare's bag allowance. Staff take it at check-in and load it in the hold, and it's returned with priority on arrival. Infants under 2 have no bag allowance of their own beyond the stroller.

A medium bicycle up to 150 cm costs €50, and surfboards cost €50 for medium or €95 for large. Those are sample rows from the airline's sports equipment table, which prices each item by type and size. Musical instruments that fit 55 x 40 x 23 cm fly free in the cabin instead of hand luggage.
