Philippine Airlines' economy checked allowance is 10 kg on a domestic Economy Saver fare and 2 pieces of 23 kg (50 lb) each to the US, Canada and the Middle East. Supersaver includes no checked bag on domestic, Japan, Australia and several Asia routes. Every fare keeps one 7 kg hand-carry bag up to 56 x 36 x 23 cm (22 x 14 x 9 in).
Economy fares to the US, Canada and the Middle East include 2 pieces at 23 kg (50 lb) each. Premium Economy raises that to 2 pieces at 25 kg (55 lb), and Business to 2 pieces at 32 kg (70 lb). Asia, Australia and domestic flights use a weight system instead, where you can split the kilos across any number of bags. On those routes Business gets 40 kg internationally and 30 kg or 35 kg at home.
PAL sells Premium Economy to North America only on Honolulu, New York, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto flights. Mabuhay Miles Premier and Premier Elite members get about 1 extra piece or 10 to 20 kg more.

One hand-carry bag of up to 56 x 36 x 23 cm (22 x 14 x 9 in) is free on every fare, Supersaver included. PAL lists only the outer dimensions and doesn't say whether wheels and handles are counted, so measure the whole bag. The same single-bag rule covers Economy, Premium Economy and Business.
You can bring 1 personal item on top of the hand-carry bag. PAL's list includes a small handbag or purse, a coat or blanket, reading material, a duty free bag, infant food for the flight, or a laptop in its case. Only the laptop case has a size: 45 x 35 x 20 cm (18 x 14 x 8 in). No weight is published for personal items.
Yes, the limit is 7 kg (15 lb as PAL prints it) per hand-carry bag. At Seattle, San Francisco, Vancouver and Toronto, a bag that breaks the rules must go in the hold, and PAL may charge USD 125 or CAD 125 for it.
Domestic allowances run by fare: Economy Supersaver has no checked bag, Economy Saver has 10 kg, Economy Value and Flex have 20 kg, and Comfort Class has 25 kg. Business Value gets 30 kg and Business Flex 35 kg. Flights to Basco cap economy at 10 kg. You can split the allowance into 2 or more bags if the total stays within it.
Basco, in the Batanes islands, is the one domestic route where PAL publishes a lower economy cap.

On piece routes, oversize charges start at 63 in, so keep each bag within 158 cm (62 in) in length, width and height combined. PAL publishes no upper size cutoff.

Yes. Under the FurPAL program, 1 small dog or cat can ride in the cabin on domestic flights from PHP 2,500 one way, with cats added in September 2026. PAL's older pets page still says only service dogs may fly in the cabin, so we flag that conflict. Dogs and cats can also go as checked baggage if pet and kennel weigh 32 kg or less, priced under the destination's excess baggage rules. Snub-nosed dog breeds are refused as checked baggage, and emotional support dogs travel as checked pets.
PAL requires the Bureau of Animal Industry paperwork for pets, presented at the BAI office before check-in.
