The overhead-bin bag can measure up to 56 x 36 x 23 cm, and Cebu Pacific counts wheels and handles in that size. Every fare, GO Basic included, gets this bag plus one personal item that fits under the seat. On 5J flights departing September 15, 2026 onwards, the hand-carry allowance is 10kg. Cebgo (DG) flights keep a 7kg limit.

Cebu Pacific applies the 10kg limit by departure date, so a ticket bought before September 15, 2026 for a later 5J flight still gets it.

Your second item must fit within 20 x 20 x 35 cm and go under the seat in front of you. A small backpack, handbag or laptop case of that size works. Lap infants don't get a separate allowance: their things go inside the accompanying adult's hand carry.

It is 10kg on Cebu Pacific (5J) flights departing on or after September 15, 2026, whatever the booking date. Flights operated by Cebgo (DG) stay at 7kg, so check the flight number on your itinerary. GO Easy and GO Flexi each include 1 checked piece of 20kg; GO Basic includes none, so you buy baggage as an add-on. All three bundles carry the same hand-carry allowance. You can raise a 20kg piece by 4kg, 8kg or 12kg, up to 32kg.

A 20kg prepaid bag costs PHP 1,000 on domestic flights, PHP 2,000 on international short haul and PHP 3,000 on long haul when bought online. Each extra 4kg costs PHP 700, PHP 1,100 or PHP 1,700 on the same three route types. You can add baggage through Manage Booking until two hours before departure, and up to three pieces can be bought online.

Cebu Pacific does not list which routes count as short haul or long haul on its fee page.

One checked piece can weigh up to 32kg and measure up to 99 x 99 x 99 cm (39 x 39 x 39 in). The base purchase is 20kg, with upgrades in 4kg steps. Passengers traveling together can pool their weight if they check in at the same time.

At the airport, a 20kg bag costs PHP 2,500 domestic, PHP 3,500 short haul and PHP 6,000 long haul. Excess weight costs PHP 700, PHP 1,100 or PHP 1,700 per kg. Online, the same 20kg bag is PHP 1,000 domestic, and an extra 4kg costs what 1kg costs at the counter.

Each sports item can weigh up to 20kg and costs PHP 2,000 domestic, PHP 3,500 short haul or PHP 5,000 long haul as CEB Special Baggage. Golf bags need a hard-shell case, and dive gear is fine but scuba tanks are refused. Surfboards cap at 6 ft, longboards and paddle boards at 9 ft, and body boards at 4 ft. Sports weight is not pooled with prepaid baggage.

Household pets travel only through CEB Cargo; the help center lists no in-cabin or checked-bag pet option. Pets must be at least 3 months old, snub-nosed dogs and cats are generally refused, and bookings open 1 to 3 days ahead. Live animals can't go on ATR or Cebgo flights. The cargo rate isn't published in the help center.

Shipments go airport to airport only, and CEB Cargo takes no live animals between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

Yes. Dogs fly in the cabin as service or emotional support animals on both 5J and DG flights, and the help article names no other species. You need a training document or a doctor's letter, an up-to-date vaccination card and a Bureau of Animal Industry shipping permit.

A bag over 56 x 36 x 23 cm may have to be checked in, and Cebu Pacific says extra charges may apply, without naming an amount on the hand-carry page. The airport rate for a 20kg bag is PHP 2,500 domestic, so prepaying online is cheaper when your bag is borderline.
