Caribbean Airlines allows one carry-on up to 56 x 35 x 23 cm (22 x 14 x 9 in) and 10 kg, wheels and handles included, plus a 33 x 43 x 15 cm personal item on every fare. On international flights the first checked bag is free on Classic and costs USD 40 off-peak on Lite. Fees changed for tickets bought from July 8, 2026.
The carry-on limit is 56 x 35 x 23 cm (22 x 14 x 9 in), measured with wheels and handles. Every passenger gets one carry-on bag and one personal item on all Caribbean Airlines flights, Lite fares included. Duty free bought at the airport counts inside that allowance, and a bag over the limits is charged as an extra piece.
Drones may travel in carry-on bags only, and the bag must still meet the size and weight limits.
A personal item can measure up to 33 x 43 x 15 cm (13 x 17 x 6 in). The airline names a handbag, backpack, briefcase or laptop bag as examples. No separate weight is published for it. Lap infants get their own carry-on bag up to 10 kg on top of the adult allowance.
Yes, there is a 10 kg (22 lb) weight cap on the carry-on bag. The same page says anything outside the size or weight allowance is charged as an extra piece, so a heavy bag can cost the extra bag fee. Mobility aids such as wheelchairs, crutches and walkers travel on top of the allowance, subject to space.
Lite includes 0 free checked bags, Classic 1, Flex 2, Biz 2 and Biz Flex 3 on international routes. All five fares keep the free 56 x 35 x 23 cm carry-on and personal item. When an itinerary mixes economy fares, the allowance of the longest sector in that direction applies.
Seated infants get the checked allowance of the fare bought for them, so a Lite seat for an infant includes no free bag.
